The Caloosa team is pleased to announce that we have collaborated with local West Palm Beach artist Joni Garman this holiday season! Partnering with Joni is the perfect way to enhance our Holiday collection with the sense of cheer and whimsy her art portrays....something we strive for in all of our Caloosa designs.
Meet the artist:
Joni was born and raised in North Carolina. She picked up a paintbrush at the age of six and won a national "Paint Something Green" contest sponsored by Scotts Company. Joni has called West Palm Beach home for over 26 years where she has raised her children and been active in her community that she loves.
Sixteen years ago Joni painted her first "Happy Birthday" sign for her daughter's party. Little did she know that the sign she painted to celebrate her daughter's 2nd birthday would begin a new venture for her and her artwork.
Since then she has been painting and creating items that reflect her love for her family, her southern roots and traditions and her passion for coastal living. She is well known for her whimsical style, traditional hand painted signs, creating unique designs that celebrate your family's milestones, one of a kind gift items, sun hats and caps, market bags, faux pumpkins and original artwork.
